What is mobile Broadband?
Mobile broadband gives you internet access, wherever you are. No telephone line, no wi-fi, just direct access to the internet over a mobile phone network. By connecting your laptop to a USB modem or datacard containing a SIM card, you can access the internet at broadband speeds wherever you are. Don’t worry, the setup is very easy as the drivers for the device are usually inside the modem all you have to do is plug and play.
Tip, always check the coverage for your area, the quoted network speeds are the maximum possible, they do not tell you what speed you will get and that the maximum speeds may not be available in your area.
